What Files Can't I Upload?

Files that are Illegal or Files that are NOT allowed to be shared such as:

Illegal Files, Pornographic Files, Copyrighted Files...etc

Can I Pause And Resume My Downloads?

Yes, but only If you are a premium Member.

I paid for a membership, why Can't I Login?

In Order to use our system, you MUST have cookies enabled. also if you paid with an E_check, you will not be able to login until your funds have cleared. this usually takes 3-4 business days.

How Long Do You Keep My Files For?

We delete files that have not been access for 30 Days. but keep in mind that as long as your file recieves at least one download every 30 days, it will NEVER be deleted!

Can I Delete My Files?

Ofcourse! When You upload a file, you're also given a "Delete-Link", you can delete your file at anytime by accessing that link.

Can I seach through your file archive?

No, in order to protect our user's privacy, we do not allow others to search through our database of files.

What is a "URL" upload?

By using URL uploads, we will download the file for you and automatically upload it to MegaShare. On the main page, click on "URL Uploads" and add your File's URL there. We will then download the file for you and re-upload it to our servers. If the the file you are trying to upload is hosted elsewhere besides your own local computer, uploading it using "URL" upload, is usually much faster!

What is an "FTP" upload?

FTP uploads are very similar to URL uploads (read above), use this option when your file's link starts with "ftp://" instead of "http://"

Can I use URL uploads with authentication as well?

Yes, Just use http://LOGIN:PASSWORD@www.server.com/file.zip and replace LOGIN with your username and PASSWORD with your password. We will then login to that server with the data you provided and start downloading the file you requested. Our system automatically deletes your URL address including your username and password as soon as the upload has been finished or cancelled, so your login information are safe with us!

Your system does not recognize me! Whats wrong?

Please make sure you have enabled cookies on your system. Also make sure you do not have any type of software installed that blocks cookies (some firewalls do this). Click Here to learn how to enable cookies.

Why can't I upload files larger than 50 Megs?

Free users have a upload limit of 50MB per file, Premium members are allowed to upload files twice tha size, 100MB.
